Introduction
This document provides information about the Broken Links option. The scan detects any hyperlink that fails to load or returns an error.

Navigation
Follow these steps to navigate to the Broken Links list:
- Log in to your Web Governance account.
- Select the domain that you want to work with.
- Expand the left menu bar if the options are not visible
- Click Content Quality to expand the menu.
- Click Broken Content to expand the sub-menu.
- Select Broken Links.
Landing page
This section describes the Broken Links dashboard and user actions.
- Tabs
- All broken links
- Ignored
- Marked as fixed
- Export button
- Filter button
- Search field
- Table columns
- Broken link: This column displays the broken link.
- Labels
- PageCorrect: This column contains a button that navigates to the broken link in the PageCorrect module.
- Response code: The response code that the broken link returns.
- Type: The type of broken content.
- Documents: Click the number on a row for a broken link to view documents that contain broken links on that page.
- Pages: The number of pages where that broken link is found.
- Action button with the options to Mark as fixed or Mark as ignored.
User actions
You can do the following actions from the dashboard:
- Tabs: Select a tab at the top of the table to limit the list view to one of the following:
- All broken links
- Ignored
- Marked as fixed
- Export: Click Export (a download icon) at the top of the page. For more information, read How to do an Export.
- Filter: Click the Filter icon in the table header and select a filter option:
- Labels: Select the label to filter for.
- Type: Select Pages or Documents.
- Response code: Select a response code to filter for.
- Internal or external
- Search: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific page title or URL.
- Table columns:
- Broken link: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. Click to navigate to the broken link.
- Edit labels: Click in the labels area to manage labels for the selected page. For more information, read Create, manage, and apply labels.
- PageCorrect: Click to open the page in the PageCorrect module.
- Documents: Click to navigate to the Documents with Broken Link page.
- : Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. Click the number in the column to navigate to the page.
Documents with broken Link
You can do these actions on this page:
- Link: Click the link under the page header to navigate to the published page.
- Filter: Click and select an filter option for the results list:
- Export (a download icon): Click to export the results. For more information, read How to do an Export.
- Search: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific document title or URL.
Content with broken link
- Link: Click the link under the page header to navigate to the published page.
- Filter: Click and select an filter option for the results list:
- Labels: Click and select a label to filter for.
- Languages: Click and select a language to filter for.
- Export (a download icon): Click to export the results. For more information, read How to do an Export.
- Search: Type a search string into the search text box to locate a specific document title or URL.
- Title: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. Click to navigate to the page view for information about the page that contains the broken link.
- Edit labels: Click in the labels area to manage labels for the selected page. For more information, read Create and apply labels.
- Priority: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. View the priority assigned to this broken link: Low, Medium, or High.
- Views: Click the arrow to sort the column ascending or descending. The number of views this content has received in the last 30 days.
- Page View: Click the Page View icon to navigate to the page view for this broken link. For more information, read Page Views.
- Inspect with browser extension: Click the magnifying glass icon to inspect this issue with the web browser extension. For more information, read How to use the web browser extension.
