The on-demand scan is a full website scan that can be done by an Admin user at any time as needed between regularly scheduled scans. This is useful when your website has been updated with new material, for example. User accounts typically include 100 on-demand scans per month.
The on-demand scan detects website issues around accessibility, quality assurance, SEO, user activity and more, depending on the type of contract you have with Acquia.
