Use the following steps to add terms to a vocabulary:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Structure > Taxonomy > Overview.
3. Locate the vocabulary to which you want to add terms.
4. Click the dropdown corresponding to the vocabulary.
5. Click Add term.
6. In the Name field, enter a name for the term.
7. In the Description field, enter a description for the term.
8. Assign metadata to the term.

9. For hierarchical vocabularies, expand the Relations section and select a parent term if applicable.

   Terms can have various relationships:

   • Hierarchical: Parent-child relationships. Fox example, Europe contains France.
   • Synonyms: Alternative names for the same term.
   • Related terms: Cross-references between terms.
10. Click Save.

Adding terms to a vocabulary
