Creating a new content type

Use the following steps to create a custom content type:

Menu settings control which menus content creators can add new content to.
Search settings control whether content in the content type is accessible via search and sitemap.
- Note: Search engines may still index the page for example when other pages link to content in the content type.
Scheduled settings control whether scheduled publishing is used for the content type.
Workflow settings control which workflow should be applied to the content type.
