Viewing users

Use the following steps to view the users who are assigned to your site:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Users > User list to view the list of all users who have been granted access to this site through the Sites Dashboard.

   Important

   All user invitations must be done through the Teams functionality in the Sites Dashboard.

Managing user roles

Use the following steps to modify a user's site-specific roles:

Managing user roles

Use the following steps to modify a user's site-specific roles:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Users > User list.
3. Find the user for whom you want to modify.
4. In the Operations column, click Edit corresponding to the user.
5. In the Roles section, select or clear the checkbox for the appropriate roles.

6. Click Save.

   Important

   Basic user information such as email address and name cannot be modified within individual sites. Such changes must be made by the user in their Acquia account settings.

Blocking users

Use the following steps to temporarily prevent a user from accessing the site:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Users > User list.
3. Find the user for whom you want to modify.
4. In the Operations column, click Edit corresponding to the user.
5. In the Status section, change the selection from Active to Blocked.

6. Click Save.

   Blocked users cannot log in. However, their account information will remain. 

Restoring access for a blocked user

Use the following steps to restore access for a blocked user:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Users > User list.
3. Find the user for whom you want to modify.
4. In the Operations column, click Edit corresponding to the user.
5. In the Status section, change the selection from Blocked to Active.
6. Click Save.

Canceling user accounts

Use the following steps to remove a user account:

1. Access your site.

2. In the left sidebar, click Users > User list.
3. Find the user for whom you want to modify.
4. In the Operations column, select Cancel account corresponding to the user.
5. Choose the appropriate cancellation method when prompted:
   • Disable the account and keep its content.
   • Disable the account and unpublish its content.
   • Delete the account and make its content belong to the Anonymous user. This action cannot be undone.
   • Delete the account and its content. This action cannot be undone.
6. Click Confirm to confirm the action.
