Introduction

The Acquia Web Governance platform has a new User Interface (UI) design for these components:

These updates improve your workflows and simplify the application design. Read this article or watch the video to see the primary changes.

The names of some modules and features are changed to improve clarity.

The UI now organizes features into these new categories:

Your subscription plan determines the modules that you can see. If you do not see a specific item, it is not in your subscription.

To simplify the UI, these features are removed:

Quick Search: In the top navigation
Users: In the top navigation. You can still access this in the Admin section.
Accessibility Mode: In My Profile
Social links: In My Profile

The system now uses two check categories instead of three:

Automated checks (formerly Errors): The scan found confirmed failures. You must fix these errors.
Assisted checks (formerly Warnings and Reviews): The scan found potential issues. A human must review these issues.

You now have a clearer set of actions for issues:

Ignore check: Ignore the full rule.
Ignore code snippet: Ignore the snippet on the local page or globally with Fast track.
Mark as fixed: Mark the issue as fixed on this page or on all pages. Automated fixes are verified by the next scan. Assisted fixes are trusted permanently.
Confirm as issue: A new Confirmed Issue badge shows for assisted checks that a human has verified.
Restore: Admins can reinstate ignored checks.

Removed: The manual Reviewed state is removed from the UI. You can still use this state in the browser extension.

The Summary page has a new design to help you overview and fix issues. It contains:

An Exclude assisted checks toggle. This toggle is in the Accessibility score and Compliance-by-level views. Use this to see a score based only on automated results. The industry benchmark does not display when this toggle is on.
Cards that show your top issues and the pages with the most issues.
A progress graph for your accessibility score, issues, and code snippets.

The Statistics module is now the Site Analytics module. It features a new visual design and updated screen names:

You do not need to take any action. The system applies all updates automatically on September 21, 2026.
