Are AI-generated search results counted as "visits" in the Web Governance Site Analytics module?
Date Published: May 28, 2025
No, Google uses cached website content. For example, when you perform a Google search operation, the results appear in a list. If you do not click a link to open the link, the system does not count it as a visit. the same applies to AI-generated search results.
Note
The Site Analytics module was previously called Statistics.
