When the Attached Documents feature is enabled, if you have permission you can view, upload, download, edit, and delete attached documents, like release forms and licenses. New documents and existing documents that have already been uploaded can be attached. The same document can be attached to multiple assets, and multiple documents can be attached to one asset. Any file type can be added as an attached document.
Attach documents in four ways:
A preview of an attached document will display after it is uploaded. If attached documents do not preview or do not preview properly because your firewall has blocked the site for viewing, contact the DAM Customer Support team.
You can append supplemental files to multiple assets in a single motion using the New Search experience. This eliminates the need to switch back to the legacy interface.
To bulk attach documents:
Select multiple assets in your search results to reveal the dark bulk actions bar.
Click the paperclip icon Add attachments to open the hybrid selection modal.
The Asset Digest interface now provides full functionality to manage attached documents. This essential update enables you to upload new attachments, select from previously uploaded attachments, and remove attachments from individual assets.
