Can I upload a proof to Acquia DAM after it is approved?

Project creators and proof providers can publish final deliverables to Acquia DAM after routing is complete.

You can close a deliverable from the project details, then choose to upload the final file to the Assets app. If you don't want to upload the final file to Assets, uncheck that option, then close the deliverable. Closing it downloads the file to your computer for manual upload to the DAM.

When a file is released to the DAM, the filename will default to the file’s current title. You can update that, as well as choose an upload profile, before releasing it. Upload profiles listed in Workflow are the ones you have access to in the DAM.

If the filename is the same as a file that’s currently in the DAM, the files will conflict upon upload. Resolve the conflict and take other actions on the asset in the DAM.

Add source files to Assets

Files that you’ve created in addition to the final file of a deliverable can be uploaded to the Assets app when you’re closing the deliverable. Source files are then available for others to download or share, allowing for a complete picture of an asset. Just click Change file to add the source files, then release them to Assets.

A link is available to the file in Assets from the deliverable details page in Workflow after the file has been uploaded.

Note that a preview of the asset will display in Assets only for GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG, and TIFF files. For other files, you’ll see the Preview not available thumbnail, and those files will upload to Assets just the same.
