With permission, you can create new projects and deliverables in the Workflow app.
Create a project¶
Go to the Workflow app and click Create project on the dashboard.
Enter a project title, project manager, start and end dates, and any other important details, then select Create. You can also copy an existing project and its deliverables by clicking the project options menu and Copy project.
Set up deliverables¶
After you start a project, you can create deliverables for it. Projects can have one or multiple deliverables, which are output pieces of projects, like postcards, table tents, booklets, photography, body copy, and more.
All deliverables for a project are listed on the project's page. To add a new deliverable to a project, click Create deliverable.
Enter a name and, if you have it, upload a proof that will be
routed to reviewers. To finish setting up a deliverable, fill in details like priority, deliverable manager, and proof provider. The deliverable manager is responsible for the creation and management of the deliverable and will default to the proof provider's name, but you can change that when creating each deliverable.
Then set up review stages and add at least one reviewer whose approval is required. Note that, when adding reviewers, if you select that only comments are needed from a reviewer and that reviewer indicates that they're finished commenting on a proof, you're unable to change that reviewer's review type to approval required. The reverse is also applicable.
Click Complete setup when you're done.
Add deliverables to project requests¶
If you already know the deliverables that will be needed when you're requesting a project, you can add them to the form before submitting the request.
Close deliverables and projects¶
As a project creator, you can close a deliverable for a project if it's no longer needed or after review is complete. When it is, reviewers can no longer comment on it or provide feedback.
Deliverables must be closed individually and can be closed for proofs that are that in review, with review completed, or for proofs that are needed, and for in-progress projects.
To close a deliverable, click the project name, select the deliverable, then click Close Deliverable in the project's details.
You can choose to select an
upload profile, then
upload it to the Assets app.
Once all deliverables are closed for a project, the project will be closed and appear in the closed project list.
