If you have the Access Entries permission, you can see all products and update product details for any product in Entries.
If you need to update product details, there are a number of ways you can find the products you need in Entries. Search, sort, or filter on the Products page to narrow down the list of products to find the ones you need.
Search products¶
Use the quick search to find products that contain the search terms. Enter a SKU or product name, then click the search icon and a list of results will display. Solo and parent products display in search results.
If you search for
variants, their parent products display in search results. Select a parent to see the variants.
If there are variants for a parent product, the number will be indicated in the Variants column. For solo products, the value will be blank.
In the Date updated column, the date will be updated whenever an edit is made to the variant.
Sort products¶
All the columns in the table on the Products page, with the exception of the column with the featured image, can be sorted to help you more quickly find products. Click the column name to sort.
Filter products¶
Filters can be applied to search results to further refine results, like finding those that already have marketing copy. Apply filters by SKU, product name, product type, featured image, or any attribute.
When filtering, if a product matches a variant product (color is red, for example), the variant's parent product displays in search results.
Filters can also be applied to product exports in channels. The difference between the filters is that, on the Products page, you’re filtering what displays on the page, then you can select an individual product to review and update. When you select to filter within a channel, you’re filtering which products will be exported.
To filter, select the Filter products button.
Next, select as many filters as you need, then choose Done. The filters you set will be applied and products displayed on the Products page will be updated.
Batch delete products¶
If you have the Administrate Entries application permission, you can delete products in batches in the Entries app. Go to the All Products page and select all products or individual products you want to delete, then click the trash can icon.
