When you search for assets to add to a portal or when you're viewing a portal, view larger previews of assets, play videos, or see all pages of documents in Quick View. You may also see metadata and tags displayed in Quick View.
From search results or within the portal, select Quick View for the asset you'd like to see more details about.
In Quick View, click the arrows to see a larger preview of the next and previous assets.
If you’re a portal creator who wants to ensure your users have all the information they need when they’re looking at assets in portals, or you'd like to see details about assets in portals, you can choose to display metadata in Quick View.
In the Live Editor, creators can select to display metadata in Quick View for each asset section. Depending on how it's set up in the Assets app,
metadata fields may or may not display for portal creators and portal viewers.
For public and access code portals, metadata fields with view set to Permissioned in Assets will display if portal creators have permission to view the fields in Assets. For portals that require a login and view set to Permissioned in Assets, fields will display if creators have permission to view the fields in Assets
and Extended security is selected for the portal.
Field views for portals with Limited security differs. If Limited is selected, fields display if viewers have permission in Assets to view them. Limited security is based on viewer permission in Assets rather than creator permissions.
Metadata fields with view settings that are set as No in Assets will not display.
When filters are enabled, you can select up to five filter types from the dropdowns. Filter types are listed in alphabetical order.
When users click to see a larger version of an asset, file details will display. Metadata displays in real time from the Assets app. That means that if it’s added or deleted in Assets, you will see the most current metadata when they view the asset in the portal. If there’s no metadata available for an asset, you'll see a notification in the file details.
Note that asset groups and asset security are not included in the file details.
