How do I manage portals?

If you have the Portals admin role, manage all created portals from the Portals dashboard. Access the dashboard from the apps menu in Acquia DAM or Widen Collective.

Accessing the Portals dashboard

  • Go to the apps menu and select the Portals app.
     

Searching and filtering portals

  • The dashboard displays up to 250 portals at one time.
  • Search for portals by portal name.
  • Filter portals by creator, status (active or expired), and type (such as Brand or Video).
  • Use dropdown filters to refine search results.
     


Sorting portals

  • Sort portals by creation date, last updated date, or name.
  • The dashboard automatically saves your selected sort order and applies it the next time you visit, even after a reload or new session.

Portal options

For each portal, select the Options menu to perform actions, including:

  • View the portal as end users see it.
  • Edit the portal to configure sections, update the banner image or background color, change descriptive text, enable search, configure download options, set asset display and per-page count, adjust sort order, and delete sections.
  • Duplicate the portal.
  • Share  the portal.
  • View portal details, such as creation, modification, and expiration dates.
  • Review portal view counts.
  • Delete the portal. Deleting a portal removes access for all users.

Ownership sorting

  • Sort portals by those you own and those to which you have been invited.
