Acquia DAM - September 2026
Saved searches in the new search experience
Users can save, reload, manage, and share search criteria in the new search experience.
Customer benefits
Faster asset discovery: Reuse saved keywords, filters, and advanced search parameters instead of rebuilding searches.
Consistent team workflows: Share saved searches with Everyone in my organization, or keep them private with Only me.
Permission-aware results: If a user does not have access to a custom metadata field, Acquia DAM skips that filter and runs the remaining search criteria.
The Insights Reporting API endpoint (POST /v2/analytics/events/query) in API v2 provides programmatic access to event-level analytics data for all assets in an account.
Customer benefits
Account-wide visibility: Query analytics data for all assets, without single-asset restrictions.
Complete event coverage: Retrieve records for downloads, asset access, embeds, shares, collection shares, portal views, uploads, logins, and searches.
Better reporting: Connect DAM usage data to external business intelligence (BI) reporting tools and AI workflows.
Support for large datasets: Retrieve up to 10,000 records per response through token-based cursor pagination.
Expiration date column in asset activity CSV exports
CSV exports for asset-based activity reports include an Expiration Date column. The column is available in the exported CSV file only. It is not added to the report in the user interface.
Customer benefits
Track time-sensitive assets: Access the expiration date of each asset next to its usage data in exports of the Downloads, Uploads, Asset Views, and Embed Views reports.
Easier auditing and compliance: Identify expired or soon-to-expire assets that are still in use, without checking each asset individually.
Clean reporting: If an asset has no expiration date, the column is left blank for that asset.
Zero operational downtime: Live Drupal sites remain available to visitors without broken references during migration.
Automated reference preservation: Preserves field data and entity references across nodes, paragraphs, and other host entities while updating references to Acquia DAM assets.
Guided administrative wizard: Provides a structured, three-step migration wizard in the Drupal administrative user interface to map media types, configure metadata alignment, and review summary reports.
Batch and command-line execution: Processes large media libraries in batches with real-time progress indicators in the Drupal user interface or through the Drush command-line interface.
