An expiration date is the date an asset is no longer available for others to download or share. If you have permission, you can add an expiration date or edit an existing one.
Expiration dates for single assets can be added or edited in Asset Digest, Quick View, and on the Asset Details page. Expiration dates for a batch of assets can be added or edited by adding assets to the Selection panel in search results and using batch editing tools to edit security.
In Asset Digest, go to the Asset info panel, select the Details tab, and scroll to the Security section.
On the Asset Details page, go to the Asset Group/Security section.
Here are a few things to note about expiring assets. Assets can also be set to expire immediately in any location mentioned above. Assets cannot be expired by asset group. You can watch assets and track expiring watched assets.
Sort search results by expiration date¶
In classic search only, results can be sorted by expiration date using the Sort by dropdown. Assets with the most recent expiration date will display first. Click the Sort by dropdown again to see assets with the oldest expiration date first.
