After you list your products on digital commerce platforms, formatting requirements for the information vary widely from site to site and change often. A syndication tool takes your product assets and attributes, transforms them to match the requirements for different platforms, and then exports that data to the platforms.

Acquia Syndicate, powered by Syndic8, connects to over 150 trading partners. This tool enables your team to optimize and syndicate product content directly to digital marketplaces and direct-to-consumer (DTC) sites. There are two methods to use Acquia Syndicate:

• From PIM Entries: Syndicate your product data and assets managed in the Entries application. For detailed instructions, visit How do I syndicate my products in Entries?

• From DAM: Syndicate your digital assets directly from Acquia DAM without requiring Entries. Synchronize assets from DAM with product data from your existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), PIM, or spreadsheets. 

Mapping

If you purchase the Acquia Syndicate tool, you work with an implementation team to map your product fields and data to trading partners in the syndication tool. This process applies whether you syndicate from Entries or directly from DAM.

Syndicate data

After you establish field mapping, you can synchronize your product information with the syndication tool:

• Manual synchronization: Activate syndication on demand from the Syndicate module.

• Auto-synchronization: This feature detects and pushes only the changed data to trading partners without manual intervention, and reflects changes in approximately 30 minutes. Auto-synchronization processes product creation and updates only, not deletions.

Additional syndication features

• AI assistant: Generate product copy tailored to a target persona or demographic.

• Translation assistant: Translate product content into over 50 languages and regions with AI-powered assistance.

• A+ content: Create rich media content for Amazon Marketplace listings.
