The Dashboard module displays details about a specific Campaign Studio instance. For more information on your instance, see reports.
Users have their own individual and highly-customizable dashboards. The entire instance does not have a specific dashboard. Campaign Studio displays different versions of the dashboards with widgets based on the permissions of the logged in user. You can assign roles to users in Settings > Roles. For example, if a user does not have the necessary permissions to perform tasks (view or create) in Campaigns, the user cannot view or create widgets for campaigns.
Note
The default date range is 30 days back from the present day. However, you can update the range in Dashboard or change the default date range in Settings > Configuration > System Defaults.
Ensure that you do not create a large number of widgets as large dataset can impede performance.
Adding a widget
Based on your permissions, you can add widgets to your dashboard and view a custom version of the dashboard that displays your preferred data.
To add a widget:
Log in to Campaign Studio.
In the left navigation pane, click Dashboard.
Click Add Widget.
Campaign Studio displays the Add Widget dialog box.
In Name, enter a name for the widget.
In Type, select a widget type from the available options.
If you select Report Widgets, any graph associated with the report is also available as a widget.
In Width, select the preferred width for the widget.
In Height, select the preferred height for the widget.
Click Save.
(Optional) To rearrange the appearance of your dashboard, drag and drop the widgets.
Exporting widgets
Campaign Studio provides an option to export all widget configurations. You can export configuration details as a JSON file. The system does not export the data in the widgets but only exports their configuration details. Therefore, you can use this feature to make a backup of the details, share the details with other users, or share them online.
Importing dashboards
Campaign Studio provides an option to directly import certain predefined dashboards and start visualizing the details. Alternatively, if you have an existing dashboard, you can also import that dashboard. With this feature, you can only import the widgets in the dashboard but cannot import the data within the widgets.
