With the Events in Metrics feature, customers can access, analyze, and facilitate in-depth calculations and insights on event data within the metrics system. This feature aims to enhance decision-making by offering detailed and actionable event data for both operational and campaign purposes.

Capabilities

The following are the capabilities of this feature:

  • Access to the events layer within the metrics system
  • Analysis of event counts and distribution
  • Support for machine learning field distribution within event types
  • Creation of custom dashboards for insights into event data

Important considerations

The following are the important considerations for this feature:

  • The Transaction Event configuration is not supported as it is reserved for Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) use cases.

  • Data display is restricted to a maximum of 3 months within the retention timeline.

  • The default event look-back configuration is set to last 7 days to optimize performance.

  • Well-defined retention policies are essential for optimal user experience and data management.
