Adding the layout canvas field to content entities
The Layout canvas can be added to content entities to allow website editors to create content with rich layouts.
To add the Layout canvas you will add a Layout canvas field to your content entity. As an example, the steps below describe adding the Layout canvas field to a Content type. Follow the same process for other content entity types.
Adding the layout canvas field
Navigate to Structure > Content types > (Select a content type)
Click on Manage fields
Click Add field
Select Layout canvas in the Add a new field drop-down
In the Field label, enter Layout canvas (or another descriptive label).
Click Save and continue
On the next screen click Save settings.
