To create a new website with Site Studio, you must install and enable the Site Studio minimal theme. This theme:

Removes Drupal's default theme Bartik, which includes layouts and CSS styles you do not need.
Provides minimal CSS for the search block and login page.
Includes a number of Drupal regions including the content region.
Includes Site Studio specific code for using Site Studio.

To install the Site Studio minimal theme and set it as the default:

Do not use the Site Studio minimal theme for the Administration theme.
