You can restrict where a Component can be used. For example, you can restrict a Component so that it only shows in the Sidebar browser on your Article content type. This allows you to provide editors with Components which are specific to the content they are creating.

To restrict where a Component is used:

1. Click on the Available on entity type drop-down
2. Select an entity type. The default is All
3. Tick the bundles you want to allow the Component to be used on
4. Click Add another type to add additional availability parameters.
