This document describes the new navigation. If you are not subscribed to the Web Governance Early Access program, these steps may differ slightly from your view. Contact support to join the Early Access program. All customers will automatically receive the update after the general rollout.
Introduction
This document provides information about the navigation within Acquia Web Governance Accessibility.
To navigate to Web Governance Accessibility:
Log in to your Web Governance instance. For more information, visit Log in and access.
Select the domain you want to work with on the Domain overview page.
Select Accessibility, an icon of a human with outstretched arms, on the domain menu bar. insert image
Issues are categorized by the following:
Automated checks: These are accessibility checks that the scan is able to accurately identify as failing.
Assisted checks: These are accessibility checks that cannot be determined by the scan and need a human review.
Accessibility summary
This page is the dashboard for Web Governance Accessibility.

The system displays accessibility issues as found by the scan in a number of different views, separated into the following sections:
Accessibility score

Exclude assisted checks: Turn this option ON to exclude assisted checks from the results. Assisted checks cannot be verified by the scan, and must be resolved by a human.
Accessibility score including assisted checks: This number displays the percentage of checks, including assisted checks, that your website passes. Note: If you turned on the option to exclude assisted checks, the system displays the percentage of checks that your website passes with those checks excluded.
Industry standard: This number indicates how well, compared to other companies within your industry, your website complies with accessibility standards. Note: The industry standard score is unavailable when you turn on the option to exclude assisted checks.
Compliance by level

Exclude assisted checks: Turn this option ON to exclude assisted checks from the results. Assisted checks cannot be verified by the scan, and must be resolved by a human.
Compliance by level including assisted checks
Level: This indicates the level of WCAG compliance that was selected during Accessibility setup
Done: The number of checks that have been marked as resolved since the last scan.
To fix: The number of checks that need to be resolved.
Automated checks with high impact
These are checks that are verified as failed by the scan. These failed checks have the highest impact on overall accessibility health.

View issues by type: Click to navigate to the Accessibility issues by type page, where you can sort the issue types:
Automated checks: These are accessibility checks that the scan is able to accurately identify as failing.
Assisted checks: These are accessibility checks that cannot be determined by the scan and need a human review.
Ignored checks: These are the failing checks that have been marked Ignore by a user. The scan does not consider these checks.
The list contains the following columns:
Check: The name of the failing check. Click the link to view all instances of this failing issue.
Affected pages: The number of pages that contain this issue.
Severity: The severity of the issue, determined by the number of pages that it appears on and the number of visits for that page.

These pages have the highest number of issues.

View issues by page: Click to navigate to the Accessibility issues by page view, where you can view the following:
Page: The page title
URL: A link to the page
Page views (30 days): The number of views the page has received in the past 30 days
Issues: The number of accessibility issues on the page
Labels: All labels applied to the page
Open in: Click Extension to open the page with the Web Governance Browser Extension, where you can highlight the issues on the page.
The chart provides an overview of pages with errors, with the following columns:
Page: A link to the page
Issues: The number of accessibility issues on the page

Click Visit History Center to view issues over time
Date range: Select a date range
Export: Click to export accessibility trends in .csv format
Click How is accessibility score calculated for more information about how the system calculates the accessibility score.

Accessibility score: This number displays your overall accessibility score, up to 100%, which indicates a perfect score. Note: If you turned on the option to exclude assisted checks, the system displays the percentage of checks that your website passes with those checks excluded.
Industry standard: This number indicates how well, compared to other companies within your industry, your website complies with accessibility standards. Note: The industry standard score is unavailable when you turn on the option to exclude assisted checks.
