Acquia Content Hub is a cloud-based content distribution and discovery service that enables customers to author, search, and share content throughout a complex network of sites and channels. Content Hub Enterprise supports publishing content from Drupal sites and syndicating content to Drupal sites either using the Acquia Content Hub modules or through the Content Hub API.
1. Content Hub Capabilities
Content Hub connects content bi-directionally, enabling global enterprises to discover, reuse, and distribute content throughout their entire organization in a secure cloud environment.
Content Hub empowers content curators, managers, and creators to take control of their content with a robust set of content discovery and sharing tools.
1.1. Content Repository
Aggregation and normalization of content and data from any enterprise content source or system.
1.2. Content Discovery
Content discovery tools, including automatic updates and faceted search, to break down content silos and enable enterprise content managers to quickly find relevant content from other enterprise websites, departments, or technologies.
1.4. Drupal Connector
Content Hub Drupal connector modules including ongoing module releases.
1.5. API Integration
Access the Content Hub API to build custom integrations with non-Drupal applications.
2. Subscription Tiers
The tiered entitlements are based on the number of documents being stored/managed by the customer.
A document is defined as a unique entity stored in the Content Hub service in the Common Data Format (CDF).
Content Hub recognizes three document types out of the box:
- Current Drupal version config entity
- Content types
- Field settings
- Display modes
- Languages
- Current Drupal version content entity
- Nodes
- Blocks
- Files
- Taxonomy terms
- Media
- Users
- Current Drupal version rendered entity
- View modes (rendered HTML)
Each of these documents (Drupal entities) is uniquely identifiable through a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) and is published to Content Hub from Drupal sites with the Content Hub Publisher module enabled.
2.1. Content Hub - 5K
This subscription allows for up to 5,000 total documents to be stored across any number of environments.
2.2. Content Hub - 10K
This subscription allows for up to 10,000 total documents to be stored across any number of environments.
2.3. Content Hub - 20K
This subscription allows for up to 20,000 total documents to be stored across any number of environments.
3. Subscription Add-Ons
3.1. Content Hub - 10K Additional Documents
This add-on allows for 10,000 extra documents beyond 20,000. This add-on requires a base Content Hub subscription with 20,000 documents.
