Instructions

This article provides instructions on how to activate and configure the Acquia Web Governance Accessibility feature.

Follow these steps to turn on and configure the Accessibility feature.

  1. Navigate to the Domain Overview page.
  2. Click Action on the same row as the domain and select Edit Domain from the expanded list of options.

The system displays the Edit domain page.

  3. In the Features section, click on the Accessibility field and select the accessibility level that is necessary for the website.
    The selection includes:
    • WCAG 2.0 (Level A)
    • WCAG 2.0 (Level AA)
    • WCAG 2.0 (Level AAA)
    • WCAG 2.1 (Level A)
    • WCAG 2.1 (Level AA)
    • WCAG 2.1 (Level AAA)
    • WCAG 2.2 (Level A)
    • WCAG 2.2 (Level AA)
    • WCAG 2.2 (Level AAA)
    • QualWeb (Level A)

If desired, turn on Exclude checks that require manual review. This option reduces the amount of issues that the scan finds. It instructs the scan to exclude any accessibility checks that require a manual review. Your scan results will only show Error type checks, for example, issues that can be programmatically determined as accessibility violations.
