Website visitors can use PageAssist to adjust their view of your website to suit special visual and navigational preferences. This document provides information about how your website visitors can adjust the settings to meet their specific accessibility (glossary term, activate to view definition) requirements.
Instructions
The system displays the PageAssist icon on the website after the visitor accepts or rejects cookies. The user hovers the mouse pointer over the PageAssist icon for an expanded view of the button with descriptive text: "Discover your personalization options."
These instructions describe how your website visitors can use PageAssist to view your website.
Select PageAssist. The Personalization Options window opens.
Language
This section provides instructions on how your website visitors can change the PageAssist language.
Select the drop-down arrow in the Language field to expand the PageAssist language list. Select the desired language.
Note
This only changes the language in PageAssist, not in the website.
Personalization options
This section provides instructions on how your website visitors can make the following adjustments to the website appearance:
Font: Select this option to navigate through the fonts: Sans Serif, Serif, or OpenDyslexic.
Font size: Select this option to increase the text size incrementally up to 500%.
Text spacing: Select this option to increase the text spacing incrementally up to 5px.
Cursor size: Select this option to change the cursor size from Default to Big.
Contrast: Select this option to change the contrast to Dark Mode, Invert Colors, or Grayscale.
Highlight Elements: Select this option to change the highlighted elements to Links, Headings, Buttons, or All.
Focus: Select this option to change focus between Emphasis or Reading Guide.
Media: Force pause all Multimedia with a pause and play button.
Animations: Turn the switch OFF or ON.
Audio: Turn the switch OFF or ON.
Hide Images: Select this option to enable Hide Images
Alternative Text (glossary term, activate to view definition)
Select X to exit the Personalization Options window and return to the website.
