New customers can refer to the Welcome email for the login link and initial password.
Logging in to Web Governance
This section provides instructions on how to log in with the following methods:
Log in with Acquia ID
Log in with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Log in with Acquia ID
Prerequisites: You must have an existing account with Web Governance and a valid Acquia ID with the same email address.
On the login page, click Login with Acquia ID.
Enter your credentials and click Sign In.
The system displays the Domain Overview landing page.
Important
When you are logged in to the Web Governance platform with Acquia ID, and then log out of the Web Governance platform, the system also logs you out of the Acquia ID platform.
To log in with 2FA, follow the instructions on the display:
Enter the email and password.
Click Log In.
The system displays the Two-Factor Authentication page.
Click Next.
Open the Authenticator app on another device and enter the code shown under the logo.
Changing the password
This section provides instructions for how to change your Web Governance password. New users are provided with a password in the welcome email. Change the password initially, and at regular intervals for increased security.
Follow these steps to change your password in Web Governance. These steps require that you know your current password.
On the top menu bar, click the user icon (your initials). The menu expands.
Select Edit my profile from the expanded options. The My Profile page opens.
Scroll down to the Change password section.
Enter your current password in the field Current password. If this is the first time you are signing in to Web Governance, refer to your Welcome email for the password.
Enter your desired password in the field New password and then again in Repeat new password field to verify it.
Save your changes.
Alternatively, contact your Web GovernanceAdmin user and request a manual password reset. You must provide your current password to the Admin.
Lost password
If you do not know your current password, follow these steps to create a new one.
Enter your email in the space provided on the login screen.
Click Forgot your password. The system sends an email with a new temporary password.
Log in with the temporary password.
Enter a new password and then click Save.
