This document provides instructions on how to log in to your Acquia Web Governance account.
Logging in to Acquia Web Governance
New customers can refer to the Welcome email for the login link and password.
Logging in with Acquia ID
Prerequisites: You must have an existing account with Web Governance and a valid Acquia ID with the same email address.
On the login page, click Login with Acquia ID.
Enter your credentials and click Sign In.
The system displays the Domain Overview landing page.
Important
When you are logged in to the Web Governance platform with Acquia ID, and then log out of the Web Governance platform, the system also logs you out of the Acquia ID platform.
To log in with 2FA, follow the instructions on the display:
Enter the email and password.
Click Log In.
The system displays the Two-Factor Authentication page.
Click Next.
Open the Authenticator app on another device and enter the code shown under the logo.
Changing the password
This section provides instructions for how to change your Web Governance password. New users are provided with a password in the welcome email. Change the password initially, and at regular intervals for increased security.
Instructions
Follow these steps to change your password in Web Governance:
On the top menu bar, click the user icon in the top right corner of the page. The menu expands.
Select Edit my profile. The My Profile page opens.
Scroll down to the Change password section.
Enter your current password in the field Current password. If this is the first time you are signing in to Web Governance, refer to your Welcome email for the password.
Enter your desired password in the field New password and then again in Repeat new password field to verify it.
Save your changes.
Alternatively, contact your Admin user and request a manual password reset. You must provide your current password to the Admin.
Lost password
If you do not know your current password, enter your email in the space provided on the login screen and click Forgot your password?
The system sends an email with a new temporary password. Enter a new password and then click Save.
