Introduction

This document provides information about the basic navigation on the Web Governance dashboard and domain dashboard.

The Domain Overview page

The Web Governance Domain Overview page is the first page you see when you log in. This view provides a list of all domains in your subscription. 

Main menu bar

The main menu bar remains at the top of the page throughout your Web Governance navigation.

The following image illustrates the sections of the Web Governance navigation with labels:

The following list describes the available buttons as shown in the preceding image.  Some options may not appear in your view, this depends on the options purchased in the contract with Acquia.

Domain dashboard

Select a domain from the Domain Overview page. The platform opens the Dashboard page. This page contains information gathered for the options included in your subscription. Here you can see at a glance what is going on with your domain, based on the latest performed scan. 

Domain menu bar

The domain menu bar is located under the main menu bar. This menu bar appears when you open a domain. It helps you to quickly navigate to all modules and features included in your service package.

The following list describes the available buttons as shown in the preceding image.  Some options may not appear in your view, this depends on the options purchased in the contract with Acquia.

The domain dashboard provides a high level of information, including the following:

• Overall site accessibility score
• The number of checks that currently fail to meet requirements
• The overall percentage of compliance for each module

Continue for a description of the information available in each section of the domain dashboard. Your view may differ depending on which options are included in your subscription.

Scan History

This bar chart provides the scan results for issues found in the last 6 scans, color-coded to show progress over time. Hover with the cursor over the bars in the chart for details about each one.

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select Start new scan to do a new scan on your content.
• Select Show history for the History Center view of scan data over time.

Important Notifications

This section provides a quick overview of the most urgent issues detected for this domain as identified by the most recent scan. Select an issue to view it in the associated module.

Content Policies

This section provides a quick overview of the policy compliance on your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage in a ring graph. To the right of the graph, a number indicates how many policies with violations the most recent scan detected.

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the number for more information about the specific policies with violations that were identified by the scan.
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the module.
• Select Show history for the History Center view of policy violations over time.

Quality Assurance

This section provides a quick overview of the quality assurance issues on your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage in a ring graph. To the right of the graph, a number indicates how many QA issues the most recent scan detected. Under the number of issues, find information about the number of pages and the number of documents that are affected. 

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the number for more information about the specific issues identified by the scan.
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the module.
• Select Show history for the History Center view of policy violations over time.

Accessibility

This section provides a quick overview of the accessibility issues on your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage of overall compliance achieved in a ring graph. To the right of the graph, a number signifies the number of failing checks the scan identified on your website. 

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the number for more information about the specific failing checks identified by the scan.
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the module.
• Select Show history for the History Center view of failing accessibility checks over time.

Search Engine Optimization

This section provides a quick overview of SEO opportunities on your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage in a ring graph that represents the overall compliance achieved. To the right of the graph, a number signifies the number of SEO opportunities identified, and below that a breakdown of each one. 

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the number for more information about the specific opportunities identified by the scan.
• Hover over the figures below the number of opportunities to see the level of impact that improvements for each will make on your score.
  • High impact opportunities
  • Medium impact opportunities
  • Low impact opportunities
  • Technical SEO issues
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the SEO module.
• Select Show history for the History Center view of SEO opportunities over time.

Heartbeat

This section provides a quick overview of the Heartbeat status on your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage in a ring graph that represents the uptime for the last 30 days. To the right of the graph, the following information is provided:

• Checkpoint: The URL
• Current status: The current status of the URL
• Last downtime: The day and date of the most recent incident of downtime.

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the link under Checkpoint to navigate to the domain.
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the Heartbeat module.

Statistics

This section provides a quick overview of your domain statistics. The information is displayed as a line graph that represents the total visits in the last 30 days.

In this section, you can do the following:

• Hover over the line at any location to see the date and number of visits recorded
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the module.

Data Privacy

This section provides a quick overview of the data privacy compliance for your domain. The figure is displayed as a percentage in a ring graph that represents the overall compliance achieved. To the right of the graph is a number that specifies how many data privacy issues were found by the most recent scan, and below that you can see the number of issues with each of the following:

• Red: High severity
• Yellow: Medium severity
• Blue: Low severity

In this section, you can do the following:

• Select the number for more information about the specific issues identified by the scan.
• Hover over the colored markers to view the severity level.
• Select the arrow at the top of the section to navigate to the module.

Domain dashboard
