Introduction

Acquia Source provide the pre-installed Web Governance module for Acquia Source to enable you to run quick scans from the Drupal Canvas user interface in Acquia Source.

This article provides instructions for Acquia Source users on how to initiate a scan with this feature.

Prerequisites

• The user has access to Acquia Source.

How to initiate the Quick Scan

This section provides instructions for authorized users on how to do an Web Governance Quick Scan with Acquia Source.

1. Access your site in Acquia Source.
2. On the top right, click Edit to open Drupal Canvas.
3. Navigate to the page that you want to scan.
4. In the toolbar on the left, click the Extensions icon.
5. Click Web Governance.

6. Select Start Quick Scan.

   The system displays a progress bar to show the progress of the scan render task. When finished, the results are loaded and the rendered page is sent to the Web Governance API for the scan.

7. When the module receives the results, view them summarized on the Drupal Canvas sidebar in the following categories:

   • Accessibility: Issues are summarized by guideline level (WCAG 2.1 A, WCAG 2.1 AA)
