Introduction
This document provides information about the initial tasks to complete after you configure Code Studio. Each task includes a link to the related documentation.
Tasks
After completing the initial configuration, complete these tasks in sequence:
- Make your first commit and push
Clone your Code Studio project to Cloud IDE or your local environment. Create a feature branch, make a small change (for example, update the README.md file), commit the change, and push the branch to Code Studio.
For more information, refer to Pushing your application code into your Code Studio project. - Open a merge request
In your Code Studio project, navigate to Code > Merge requests and create a merge request from your feature branch to the default branch. Request a review, address any feedback, and complete the merge upon approval.
For more information, refer to Creating a Code Studio project. - Run a pipeline
Push a commit to start the Auto DevOps pipeline, or navigate to Build > Pipelines and select Run pipeline. Monitor the jobs, review the job logs, and resolve any failures.
For more information, refer to Drupal Auto DevOps jobs or Node.js Auto DevOps jobs.
