How do I install CI HUB and connect it to Acquia DAM?

You can connect the CI HUB Connector to your assets in Acquia DAM, as well as product information in the Entries app. If you have CI HUB connected with DAM, you can access Entries content without any extra steps needed.

Before using the CI HUB Connector, you’ll need to register with CI HUB, then download the connector for Adobe Creative Cloud, Office 365, Figma, or Sketch.

Go to CI HUB’s website and complete the user registration.

Select CI HUB Connector professional as your desired product.

After registering, you’ll be sent an email with your CI HUB ID, which is your email address. Click Activate Account from the email, then create your CI HUB password.

After that, connect CI HUB to Adobe, Office 365, Figma, or Sketch:

After download, connect CI HUB to the DAM from within these apps. The instructions for each of these are outlined below. Note that for Adobe and Office 365, each app (e.g., InDesign or PowerPoint) you use will need a connection to the DAM or Entries, and connections are set up separately. However, the instructions to connect are the same regardless of the Adobe Creative Cloud or Office 365 app you’re in.

Open CI HUB from the app

Adobe Creative Cloud

In the app, select Window, Extensions, and CI HUB.

Office 365

In the app, select the CI HUB icon.

Figma

In the app, select Plugins and CI HUB Connector.

Sketch

In the app, select Plugins and CI HUB Connector.

  Add connection

Select the Add new connection icon.

Then, search for Acquia DAM and select the plus icon to add it as a connection.

Enter your DAM site URL, click Login, and on the next screen, allow CI HUB access.

Return to your Adobe, Office, Figma, or Sketch app and begin using the connection.
