Enable quick search within sections of a portal to allow users to quickly find assets. Quick search is especially helpful for sections with hundreds or thousands of assets. When users search the portal, only assets in the portal, not in Acquia DAM (Widen), are searched.

Quick search can be enabled within each assets section of a portal in Settings > General Settings. Also choose to display asset filenames or metadata, select the number of assets that display on each page of the portal, and select the sort order of those assets.

Enable or disable the quick search whenever you need. When you disable the quick search, anyone the portal has been shared with won't be able to search for assets in it.
