June 2023 Release Notes
This month, we released versions in Asset Digest, an Adobe Stock integration, rich text editor updates, and more.
Versions in Asset Digest¶
You can now manage versions in the Asset Digest! When you click an alternate version thumbnail, you’ll see its details and can click to enlarge it in quick view, save it as the final version, add a new version, or delete the version. Deleting the version in Asset Digest will remove that file from your total DAM storage.
New integration: Adobe Stock¶
Sync your Adobe Stock account with Acquia DAM, so newly licensed files and, optionally, metadata from Adobe Stock automatically populate in the DAM.
Integration update: DAM to Dropbox¶
DAM can now be synced to Dropbox, so new or updated assets in DAM will be uploaded to Dropbox.
Channel Portals: Single asset download¶
The new download experience is now available in channel portals for single assets. Users can easily download the exact file size and type they need.
Updated rich text editor¶
The rich text editor (RTE) appears throughout the Acquia DAM. In Paths and DAM dashboard messages, the feature has been replaced with a more modern and accessible RTE experience. It has improved interaction with keyboard shortcuts, more informative focus states, and tooltips on buttons. In the future, the updated RTE will appear in Entries and Portals apps.
Duplicate paths¶
You can duplicate an existing path, so you don’t have to start from scratch when creating paths with similar logic. On the main Paths page, go to the options dropdown and select Duplicate.
Bug fixes¶
- The issue with viewing all collections when adding assets to collections from the Upload Summary page has been resolved.
- In the metadata importer, rows are no longer being erroneously skipped.
- The issue with the intended use checkbox missing for Asset Digest downloads has been fixed.
- The issue with header alignment in the dashboard message editor has been resolved.
- Portals access codes are now working in incognito windows.
- The issue with deleting dynamic gallery sections in a portal has been resolved.
- In the Workflow app, there was a bug with notifications. Now, approvers added to a project request form as a workgroup are receiving notifications about comments on a project request.
- The issue with exporting more than 1,000 products from the Entries app has been resolved. Now, large exports contain the correct attribute values.
