Access in-app resources by clicking the beacon icon in the lower left corner of your site. The resource hub provides links to the support article library, guided tours, and updates to help your users understand any new functionality in the Acquia DAM (Widen) that’s available to them. You no longer need to message users whenever there are changes in the site; they’ll be displayed in the message or in tooltips when they’re using the functionality. Links to the most recent release notes are also available.

Audience¶

There are two types of updates depending on the audience.

• Admin update: Anyone who’s in an admin role and has inherited permissions will see these.
• General update: All non-admin users will see these.

Tooltips, walkthroughs, and surveys¶

While using the Acquia DAM, users might see other in-app messages, such as tooltips, walkthroughs, and surveys. Some of these messages can be launched or relaunched by users from the resource hub.

• Assets welcome message for first-time DAM users
• User surveys and research messages (except our two annual usability surveys, Net Promoter Score and System Usability Scale) 

• The resource hub and product update messages
• Tooltips for new features
• Annual Net Promoter Score and System Usability Scale surveys
