The Sites Dashboard is the centralized interface for managing your sites and controlling platform-level access. The Sites Dashboard focuses on site-level operations that impact entire sites, rather than content within sites.

Sites Dashboard: Focuses on global site operations. For example, creating sites, managing domains, and controlling access.
Individual site: Focuses on operations related to content and structure in a particular site. For example, creating pages, managing media, and configuring site features.

Site administrators typically work in both. They use the Sites Dashboard for site-level operations and the individual site interface for content and design.

Site-level operations

The following table lists example site-level operations that can be performed from the Sites Dashboard:

Create new sites	Add new sites to the platform. For detailed instructions, visit Creating a new site.
Manage existing sites	For each site, you can: Access site settings Manage domains and SSL certificates Create and restore database backups This option will be available in a future release. Control site access Delete sites
