Acquia CDP

Output connectors

With the Output Connectors feature, you can manage and set up downstream integrations with selected channels. You can monitor these integrations through standard or ready-to-use connectors.

Features

The following are the features of output connectors:

  • Current status: View real-time status of data inputs and stay updated about ongoing processes.

  • Create downstream connectors: Get a streamlined process that helps you to establish ready-to-use connectors maintained by Acquia. These connectors offer functionalities for internal and external integrations with CDP:

    • Internal: Offers a self-service option for creating an account user role through the instance, which provides auto-generated credentials to connect through downstream data.

    • External: Helps you to establish a connection using the source system account credentials to integrate with CDP, which facilitates the downstream flow of data to the specified channels.

Use cases

The following are the use cases for downstream connectors:

  • Monitor and view downstream connectors: Monitor the status of your downstream connectors for each input connector. CDP displays the list of all output connectors. The Output Connector tab displays the output connectors associated with internal and external instances.

To view the output connectors, sign in to the CDP user interface and click Integrations > Output Connectors.

You can view the following information about the output connectors:

    • Name: The name of the output connector.
    • Status: The status of the configured output connector. The available options are:
      • Active: The output connector is published and is already in use.
      • Unpublished: The output connector is saved but not published. Therefore, it is not in use.
  • Description: The description for the output connector.

  • Create a downstream connector: Create and manage the following ready-to-use connectors:

    • SFTP CSV: Connect the SFTP CSV connector as an internal and external integration.

      • When you connect as an internal downstream connector, you can create a hosted SFTP instance for temporary data storage until the data is processed.

      • When you connect as an external downstream connector, you get access to Integrations through your SFTP and receive data from the Campaigns+ - Audience in the CSV format.

    • ExactTarget Email: Connect the ExactTarget Email connector only as an external integration. The Email Service Provider integration pushes the Campaigns+ - Audience data to your data extension.

    • S3 Output: Connect the S3 Output or Cloud Storage AWS S3 connector as an internal and external integration.

      • When you connect as an internal downstream connector, you can create a hosted AWS S3 cloud storage instance for temporary data storage until the data is processed.

      • When you connect as an external downstream connector, you can access to integrations through your AWS S3 Cloud Storage and receive data from the Campaigns+ - Audience in the CSV format.

    • Google Customer Match: Connect the Google Customer Match connector only as an external integration. The integration pushes the Campaigns+ - Audience data to your  Google Ads campaigns.

    • Mautic Contact Profile: Connect the Mautic Contact Profile connector only as an internal integration. You can connect the ESP Campaign Studio product to receive the Campaigns+ - Audience.

    • 360 Profiles API: Connect the 360 Profiles API connector only as an internal integration. You can view the summary entities and reconcile records through API request calls.
