This page provides information about how to add and view input connectors for the following scenario:
Data engineers and IT professionals want to monitor all the downstream integrations from CDP to any channel through source system APIs or SFTP. They also want to create a new downstream connector for Email Service Provider channels such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
To create an external connector that you want to associate with the CDP SFTP connector:
On the Add Integration page, select SFTP CSV Connector and click Next.
Specify the name and description for the connector, and click Next.
Select SFTP External.
Enter the appropriate value for Host URL and Port Number.
In the Account Verification Method, specify your username and password. Alternatively, enter your username and private SSH key to access the SFTP instance.
The private SSH key must be in the RSA format and not in the OpenSSH format. Ensure that it is a 4096-bit PEM file and does not have a passphrase or password. A 2048 bits file is acceptable but a 4096 bits file is preferred.
The following is the structure of the private key:
1 -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
2 cdopsdsoFsjasoizx (a long paragraph of random letters)
3 -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----
To test the connection with the FTP instance, click Test Connection.
Click Next.
In Basic Parameters, do the following:
Select a delimiter from the available options.
Specify whether you want to include the executionID column in the output file.
Select a date and time format from the available options.
In Advanced Parameters, do the following:
Specify whether you want to use a non-traditional CSV format.
Select a date and time format for the output file name.
Define whether you want to enable PGP encryption to your output file. If yes, then enter the PGP public key.
Specify the extension for non-CSV format output files.
Click Save.
The system saves the output connector in the Unpublished state.
To publish the connector, Click Publish.
The system saves the output connector in the Active state. You can use the connector for further processing.
To create an SFTP CDP connector:
To use SFTP CDP, you must create an SFTP Instance.
On the Add Integration page, select SFTP CSV Connector and click Next.
Specify the name and description for the connector, and click Next.
Select SFTP CDP.
In Instance Name, select an instance and click Next.
