This document provides instructions on how to navigate the Accessibility dashboard and how to find and repair accessibility issues.
Accessibility dashboard
The Accessibility dashboard provides information on how to navigate and edit website accessibility issues and shows the selected level of compliance and the WCAG compliance for the selected target level and all of the lower levels.
Navigate to the Domain Overview page and click to select the domain you want to work with.
Click Accessibility (icon of a human with arms outstretched) on the page toolbar.
Accessibility score
This section of the Accessibility dashboard displays the percentage of the site that is compliant with the accessibility level set up for your website, as well as the industry-wide average compliance score.
This section displays the compliance by level, including assisted checks. Select Exclude assisted checks if you wish to view the number of checks that are not found by the AI assistant. In this section you can also tick the options to view the number of checks that are Done or that remain To fix.
Automated checks with high impact
This section displays the checks with high severity and highest number of affected pages. Fix these issues first for the greatest impact. The columns shown are:
Check: The name of the failing check, click the link to do an internal resource search on helpful articles. The link to the Accessibility Guide article is available in the page introduction.

This section lists the pages on your website in the order of the the highest number of issues.
Trends
This section provides a graph that lets you track your website's accessibility score, issues, and occurrences. Select a date range, and, if desired, exclude assisted checks. This option only shows automated checks.
Accessibility menu
The left menu on the Accessibility page provides more details about the specific categories.
Summary (default view)
Select this option from the menu on the left side of the page to return to the Accessibility dashboard.
Issues by type
Select this option from the menu on the left side of the page to view issues and sort them by type. The following tabs are available:
Automated checks
Assisted checks
Ignored checks
The table displays the following information:
Check: The name of the check
Level: The WCAG criteria level of the check
Labels: Displays any labels applied to the check, as well as the option to add a new label
Role: The typical role within your organization with the competence to fix the issue.
Severity; The severity of the issue, you can choose to sort this column as per your preference.
Low
Medium
High
Pages: The number of pages that this failed check is present on.
Action: Click to expand the options for this list item, select from the following:
Ignore this check
Restore this check: Only admin users can do this.
Issues by page
Select this option from the menu on the left. This page contains a list of all of the pages on your that contain failed checks.
The column headers are as detailed in the previous section.
Fast track
Select this option from the menu on the left. This section provides instructions on how to navigate the data and how to use Fast Track to review, repair, and ignore HTML snippets in bulk.
The Fast track page opens.
Click Show more to view the entire code snippet, with the option to copy it.
Click View affected checks to view all checks that this snippet fails to pass, as well as the following information about the snippet:
Effect on score: The percentage of your current compliance score that will be applied when you resolve this issue.
Affected pages: The number of pages where this code is present across your domain.
Failing checks: The checks that currently fail on the code snippet.
External PDFs: Click to select this tab at the top of the page.
This page displays a list of the external PDF file accessibility compliance issues.
Sort the table for issues that are:
Pending
Approved
The table menu items are:
PDF link: Lists the page title and the URL. Click the link to navigate to the detailed scan results for the page.
Actions: Press and select Mark as approved after you review the document.
Unignore an issue to restore the check
On the Issues by type and the Issues by page pages, select Ignored checks above the list. Click Actions on the same row as the ignored check that you want to restore and select Restore this check. Only Admin users can restore an ignored check.
This section provides instructions on how to remove a reviewed issue. Do these steps in the Audit Log section.
This procedure is for issues marked as Reviewed in the Accessibility Fast Track module or through the Page Details view. The Undo a Check Review option returns the issue to the errors view on the page and module where it occurs.
Click Audit Log from the menu on the left side of the page.
On the same row as a reviewed issue, click Action.
The Action menu expands with the following options:
Show Details
Undo Check Review.
Select Undo Check Review.
The issue is gone from the audit log and returns to the errors view on the page and module where it occurs.
If you change the accessibility level, the existing Accessibility Score scan information is erased and the new standard starts over from the beginning with the next scan. All of the history is lost. It is advised to activate a new level only when you are ready to make the updates needed, or if it becomes a legal requirement for your location and organization. If you enable the option to Exclude checks that require manual review, you might not see other potential accessibility violations on your website.
It is not recommended to require Level AAA conformance s a general policy for entire sites because it is not possible to satisfy all Level AAA Success Criteria for some content.
Level AA of WCAG 2.1 is the legal requirement to be considered accessible. WCAG 2.2 is newly released and will soon be the standard, taking over from WCAG 2.1.
When you switch to a different guideline, the compliance score can show a sudden change. A dashed line on the graph shows when the update was done and indicates the old value and the new value of the compliance score. This appears on the first scan after the guideline update.
The orange annotation appears on the compliance chart in the Accessibility module and the Accessibility section of the History Center.
The compliance score for the accessibility checks is calculated by using 100 (a perfect score) minus the number of errors found. This is then divided by the total number of accessibility checks.
For example: If the compliance for individual accessibility checks is calculated by the
total number of pages minus pages with issues
for the
check total number of pages multiplied by 100
The system calculates the number of pages that fail the check as opposed to the total number of pages, regardless of the number of issues.

Click Schedule This Report (calendar icon) on the same row as the report to receive the report as an email attachment. Multiple selection is allowed.
