Introduction

This document provides information about the basic navigation on the Acquia DAM (Widen) dashboard.

After you sign in, Acquia DAM (Widen) opens the main Assets view.

Global navigation: Use the navigation to move between core applications:
- Assets: Store, search, download, and share assets. For more information, visit How do I search for assets?
- Portals: Build and share webpages to distribute resources, curate collections, and present brand content. For more information, visit What is Portals? What can it be used for?
- Insights: Connect to a data pipeline and create customized reports to analyze system performance. For more information, visit What is Insights? What can it be used for?
- Admin: Manage users, asset metadata, and features. For more information, visit What user-related tasks are on the Admin dashboard?
- Entries (add-on): Manage product content and distribute it across channels using Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities. For more information, visit What is Entries? What can it be used for?
- Templates (add-on): Manage branded marketing materials such as ads, brochures, and flyers using system assets. For more information, visit What is Templates? What can it be used for?
- Workflow (add-on): Track project files during the approval process until they become distributable assets. For more information, visit What is Workflow? What can it be used for?
Search and filters: Search by keyword, filename, or metadata, and refine results using filters.
Asset details: Select an asset to view its preview, metadata, versions, and available actions such as download, share, or edit (depending on your permissions).
