You will receive a notification which indicates that the user cannot be deleted due to active portals.

The system prevents the deletion in order to ensure portal continuity.

Ownership transfer before deletion:

Before you can delete a user, you must first transfer the portal ownership to another user.

• Use the Transfer Ownership feature in the portal's Share menu:

• Log in to Digital Asset Management (DAM)

• Navigate to the Portals application

• Select the portal

• Click the ellipsis menu

• Choose Share

• Select the Transfer portal option

• Enter the new owner's name

• Confirm the transfer

After Deletion:

After users are deleted from the DAM, portals they created are no longer accessible by anyone.

Group User Deletion: If you delete a group of users with active portals, contact the DAM Customer Support team to transfer ownership of the portals to other users.
